Culture

How we work.

What we believe, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the kind of business we are building.

Culture is the work, not a poster on the wall.

We are an early-stage business, but culture is built from day one. The four pillars below describe how we operate. They are non-negotiable. They will be the same when we are ten people, a hundred people, or a thousand. They are how we earn the right to do the work.

Pillar One

Build to Last.

We're here to build infrastructure, not chase deals.

  • Decades, not deals. Every decision is a decades decision. We measure success by the quality of what we leave behind, not by the speed of what we close today.
  • Take pride in doing it properly. If our name is on the work, the work needs to be done right. There is no shortcut that survives the next inspection, the next audit, or the next generation.
  • Quality is non-negotiable. In downstream petroleum, quality is safety, reputation, and licence to operate. We build to standards that hold up to scrutiny — ours, the regulator's, and the country's.
Pillar Two

Safety is the Floor.

Not a target. Not a metric. The starting line.

  • Zero harm is the only target worth setting. Every other operational outcome — uptime, throughput, margin — depends on the people, communities, and environments we work with going home safely. We do not trade off the floor.
  • Stop. Think. Act. If something doesn't look right, it isn't. Anyone can stop work. No one explains themselves for raising a concern. Pace recovers; an incident doesn't.
  • Look out for the person beside you. Safety is collective. A site is safe because everyone on it has someone's back, not because someone has signed a form. Watch out, speak up, and accept the same in return.
Pillar Three

Built Here, For Here.

Australian-owned. Queensland-based. Domestic by design.

  • Australian by choice. Our ownership, our supply chain, our people, and our outcomes are designed to land here first. Domestic capability is the whole point of what we are building.
  • Respect for the country we operate on. We work on lands with deep histories and continuing connections. We acknowledge that, and we operate accordingly — with engagement, care, and the long view.
  • Engage with communities, don't just operate near them. Regional Queensland communities are not a backdrop. They are partners, neighbours, and stakeholders. We commit to operating as a contributor, not just an operator.
Pillar Four

Worth Trusting.

Earn it every day, in everything we do.

  • Say what we mean. Then do it. Counterparties remember what was promised. The cheapest reputational protection is consistent delivery on plain commitments. We don't over-promise; we don't under-deliver.
  • Tell the truth, even when it's uncomfortable. Difficult truths surface eventually. Better that we raise them, on our terms, with the information to address them. Honesty is operationally efficient.
  • Long-term relationships, not transactions. We aim to work with the same counterparties for decades. That changes how we negotiate, how we contract, and how we resolve issues when they come up.
Culture is the sum of decisions made when no one is watching. Ours are made for the long horizon.
